Grocery:
The grocery
department encompasses cereals, pastas, condiments, baby
food, bread, bottled water, juices, chips, crackers,
cookies, chocolate, baking needs, nut butters, apple
sauces, rice, soups, beans, cooking oils and vinegars, soy
and rice milks, and dried fruits, just to name a few! Our
cleaning product and pet food sections are expansive with
lots of great choices. Look for organic options too!
Dairy:
The dairy
department includes dairy and non-dairy yogurts, milks, and
cheeses, tofu, prepackaged meats, miso, condiments, and
eggs. We have both organic and vegan choices, as well as
local eggs and raw milk.
Produce:
All of our
produce is certified organic. We have many different types
of greens as well as packaged lettuce blends. Our
knowledgeable produce buyer stocks various kinds of apples
as well as seasonal fruit choices. We have many different
kinds of squash as well as the vegetable basics. Again,
everything is certified organic.
Frozen:
At Foodworks,
we carry dairy and dairy-free ice cream, various brands of
frozen bread, including some gluten free, frozen meats and
meat substitutes, frozen dinners, and juices.
Bulk:
Our bulk
section is one of the highlights of our store. We have
various herbs and spices, aswell as nuts, seeds, granolas,
snack mixes, baking needs, soup mixes, teas, and coffees.
Many of these items are available organically.
Vitamins:
In this
section, managed by knowledgeable and helpful buyers who
are available to answer questions, we carry many
supplements. We have a variety of herbs, available in
tincture or capsule form. We stock vitamins, minerals,
homeopathic remedies, nasal sprays, cough syrups, cold
& flu, and allergy remedies. We have multiple vitamins,
vision and memory aids, supplements for arthritis and joint
pain. Look for digestive aids and cleanses, as well as
fiber supplements and protein shakes. Also, remember that
we do special orders in all departments!
Health & Beauty:
The health and beauty section houses a
huge selection of beauty care choices, from hair care to
foot care! We have lip balms, toothpaste, lotions, and
makeup. Many of these products are available in organic or
vegan formulas. We also have hair color and nail polish
without those harmful chemicals we should all try to avoid.
And remember you can always ask for a recommendation!
Gifts and Books:
Our
gift choices are scattered throughout the store in fun
displays meant to catch the eye. We have a good-sized
children’s section with toys and games for children (and
adults!) of all ages. Also be sure to check our housewares
section with fun dishes and storage containers, as well as
cooking gadgets and tools. Our book section has cookbooks
and reference books for every need, as well as spiritual
books that make great gifts. On your way out check out our
bumper stickers on display in our register area.
Deli and Prepared Foods:
Another highlight of Foodworks is our
full-service deli (varies by location). Come join us for
lunch or a fresh juice. When the deli is not in service,
check out our fresh sushi, or vegetarian and vegan prepared
food options for a tasty, and healthy, lunch or
dinner!
